FAQ’S

sugaring

    • Hair needs to be at least 1/8 to 1/4 inch long—typically 10-14 days after shaving or 4 weeks after a sugar or wax.

    • If the hair is longer, it may be more painful. For less discomfort, you can trim it down to 1/4 inch, but no shorter than that.

    • The area needs to be clean and dry.

    • Avoid using lotions or moisturizers on the day of your appointment.

    • Don’t be nervous; we’ll do our best to make you feel comfortable.

  • You will be ready for your next sugaring session in 4-6 weeks. Hair growth varies from person to person, and the more consistent and regular you are with appointments, the better results you’ll achieve.

Several factors can affect hair growth, including medications, genetics, and hormonal changes, which can vary from one person to another. To achieve the best results, it’s recommended to schedule your appointments every 4-6 weeks.

  • Hair needs to be at least 1/8-1/4 inch long—typically 10-14 days after shaving or 4 weeks after a sugar or wax.

  • Shaving disrupts this natural growth cycle. It cuts the hair at the surface of the skin. This can cause the hairs to grow back at different rates and stages, leading to a mismatch during your next sugaring session.  Shaving puts you back to square one in your hair removal regime.  DO NOT SHAVE.

  • We suggest one week to two days prior to your vacation. Two weeks prior is too much time before. You are likely to see some hair growth 10-14 days after hair removal.

  • The best results in sugaring largely depends on the timing of the treatments. For optimal results, schedule your sugaring appointments every 4-6 weeks. This frequency aligns with the hair's growth cycle, especially targeting the early anagen stage when hair is actively growing.

  • If you have been shaving, even if you have let your hair grow for a few weeks before your sugaring treatment, shaving can cause hair re-growth to be uneven, in which some hairs can be too short to be removed with sugaring & may result in the appearance of stubble after your first treatment.  You will see better results 4-6 weeks of consistent sugaring.

spray tanning

FAQ’S

  • We recommend getting spray tanned 1-3 days before an event For vacations 1-2 days before.  Weddings or other big events 2-3 days plus a trial run weeks before.

  • On average, spray tan results last 5 to 10 days. However, the longevity depends on several factors, which include lifestyle habits, daily activities, and skin type, dry skin and aftercare products used.

  • DHA (Dihydroxyacetone) works only on the top layer of the skin. NUDA’s formulas are non-toxic, and there is no evidence to suggest that DHA is harmful. However, since each pregnancy is different, we recommend consulting your doctor if you have any concerns before using the product.

  • All NUDA products are 100% vegan and cruelty-free. They are only tested on NUDA babes!

  • Although NUDA’s formulas have been formulated to dry quickly and to be transfer resistant, we recommend wearing loose fitting, dark clothing after the application. If you are to sleep with your tan, we recommend wearing full length clothing. The solution is water-soluble and can easily be removed from most fabrics.

  • No. Sunless tans do not provide any UV protection.

  • The tanning solutions will absorb more in dry skin areas. This is why we put a barrier cream over all dryer skin areas so this does not happen.

  • This can be because of dryer areas of the skin and your skins’ shedding rate. Some parts may fade faster than other areas.  Can also be caused from friction, sweating and natural exfoliation.

  • 2 days after your spray tan.  The chlorine and chemicals can fade the fan faster.

  • Avoid creamy white soaps and cleansers. Also avoid products from DOVE, OLAY, or ones with salicylic acid, rentin-a or alpha hydroxy.

  • Moisturize, moisturize and do not exfoliate for a week after your tanning session.  Once you start exfoliating you will shed skin and fade away the tan.
